Happy Wednesday! We are delighted to share our most recent engagement session on the blog today. We met with Rachael and Matt last week in downtown Durham and loved spending the afternoon together. These two are so genuinely warm and sweet with one another. We felt their gentle love throughout their engagement session and we can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding in March.

We had the privilege of meeting up with Jessie and Robert over the weekend. We loved getting a chance to photograph their sweet love on the Biltmore Estate. It was such fun to hang out with Jessie, Robert and their sweet pups Wilson and Millie — they even invited us to bring Bolo along so that the dogs could all play together. We are pretty sure that Bolo wanted to join their family by the end of our shoot.

We are happy to share a collection of our favorite images from McKinley and Robert’s beautiful wedding day. We first photographed McKinley and Robert on UNC’s campus where they met while in school — it was such a treat to photograph their Raleigh wedding where they were surrounded by so many of their fellow Tar Heels. McKinley and Robert’s wedding day was a classic celebration full of a gentle and graceful love. We think that they they are a beautiful couple on the inside and out and we couldn’t be happier for them to begin their married life together.

Happy Wednesday everyone! We have been very excited to share this with all of you!
Starting last year we began using an online gallery company called PASS. We had been happily using Pictage for a while with good results. Our only issue with Pictage was the display of our images for our clients. We spend a lot of time making sure our images are captured and edited in the best quality possible, so understandably we want them to be viewed that way. PASS allows that to happen perfectly! Their gallery sites are stunning and our images are displayed cleanly, and simply with perfect clarity! The other advantage of PASS for us is how it integrates with our SHOWIT website!
This past January we launched our new website, courtesy of Sitehouse Designs and SHOWIT! We have LOVED our new website and one of the real perks for us is the ability to create what are called Plus Sites! Each one of our couples now gets their own wedding gallery website in addition to their PASS gallery!

After viewing the wedding website, you click on the full gallery and it brings your over to the PASS gallery…
We really love how simple and clean the PASS gallery is, and it’s very easy to use. Clicking the tab in the upper left hand corner will bring up the different collections in the gallery, as well as options to view favorites, prints, and download images.
Clicking on a single image brings up options of sharing the photo as well as ordering prints.
We’ve given you a little preview but now go look at the website and gallery for yourself and let us know what you think!
I think this is great! I LOVE the idea that you get your own website and you can share and view photos SO much easier! Great choice!

We are delighted to share a few of our favorite images from Mary and Frank’s beautiful wedding. It was a true joy for us to travel to Charlottesville to capture their sweet love story. We think so highly of Mary and Frank — they are truly beautiful on the inside and out and the two of them will leave their corner of the world much better than they found it. We are in love with so many of the details throughout their wedding day and can’t wait to share a small collection with you. We have to take a moment to express our gratitude for all of those involved in making Mary and Frank’s day so special — there were so many individual and collective efforts and everything about April 13 was stunning.
Mary and Frank, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful celebration. We will always remember your wedding and the abundance of joy and love. We hope you are having a wonderful time on your honeymoon!
